CRISIS! 05/25/2010

So for all those who follow Jamaica headlines, love Jamaica, are in Jamaica, and lastly are Jamaican.
Pure War a go on in Kingston. Travel Warnings and the whole thing.
This all started last week when Mr. Bruce Golding decided that he would agree to extradite Christopher Coke aka DUDUS is basically the Robin Hood of Jamaica. Gangster/Community Leader to the U.S for several reasons.
I don't want to write my opinion,
because to be honest I don't want to create war and I am tied. Its pure war against the cops and the people right now.

All I am saying is Please keep the youth in mind, they are the future of Jamaica.

Right now Jamaica needs our Prayers.

*PRAY FOR JAMAICA*

The Truth 05/11/2010

The truth is...
I feel uber low today.

The Violence is getting to me.
My city since February has been up in havick. I live in a small town in Ontario Canada.
Than My Second home in Jamaica has been going through so much......

We must make awareness.
We must stand up!

If you read this take the time, this isn't just about Jamaica right now.
Think of people around you, something on the news you have heard recently. Take a moment of silence and pray/meditate this must stop!

Alright Alright, So I did  not know what to use for a title.

Im in such shock with "Jamaica, The Land We Love" as Mr. Vegas says on twitter all the time.
The Violence in Jamaica is taking a toll on everyone I know who is older. I can only imagine what this is representing for the children.

Last week in Drax Hall a dear Family friend by the name Eldon Johnson was shot by a off duty police officer at a Football match, 2 weeks before that around the same area a Taxi man was shot.
Lets not forget to mention all the news about people being killed all over the island and the murder toll higher than ever.

The Biggest news that I heard today was Oneil from the Trio Voicemail was shot suposedly 7 times.

**Prayers**

Wha gwannn Jamaica?

Badmind ting happening.

We need to reach out and protect de yute......

Alright!
So Thank you for visiting my site!
So as I mentioned it is to create awareness for the children in Jamaica.

I currently spent 3 months there living with my Fiance in Steertown, St. Anns.
There are lots of people think that its a paradise to be living on an a hot island. People tell me that must have been the best times of my life, beach, time off.. but in all honesty, Ive grown a hate love relationship with Jamaica.
What I love, the vibez.
I never met so many positive people in my life, and its such a difference living in Canada compared to Jamaica. Everyone is always in a rush here, and life just passes you by, people dont apreciate what they have.  Even some of the Jamaicans forget where they come from when they come to Canada. Foreign does change people.
Aswell, I have never met so many independent, mature individuals as I did in Jamaica.
Wether it is Hustling to make it day by day, or working hard for what they have.
But I do have a few icks, there are a lot of people who have given up. Its not the people I blame it on. I blame it on the Government and corruption of media.
The advertisment of Materialistic things consumes us.
Why is it we have to wear expensive brand name things?
Why is it we need the newest Ipod?
Why is it we need that flat screen t.v?
Or Why is it we will scacrifice food, for the next new phone.

But most of all, what has made me start this awareness and orginization is, I do not understand why a Government cannot provide free schooling when they can invest 10 million dollars into the Tourist Industry. Excuse me?

Kids are stuck at home because single mothers cant provide there kids to go to school, feed them, and put clothes on there backs.

Its a frustrating thing that.

Welcome Again! 04/26/2010

So I am kind of excited to have this up and running, bare with me!
